In the field service business, delays often occur when technicians discover that essential parts or materials are missing, damaged, or insufficient while performing a job. Communicating these needs through calls, emails, or chat messages can lead to miscommunication, a lack of traceability, and project delays. To address this challenge, Zuper introduced the Material Request (MR) feature, a structured, trackable way for teams to request and fulfill required materials efficiently. The Material Request (MR) feature enables your organization to streamline the process of requesting, approving, and fulfilling parts and products needed by the field technician. It ensures that when a technician encounters missing, damaged, or additional material requirements during job execution, those requirements can be captured, tracked, and fulfilled efficiently either through internal stock transfer or vendor purchase order.
